Do Not Swim Notice Removed For Ballycastle, Portacloy, Lough Lannagh & Pontoon Beaches

Mayo County Council wishes to advise the public that the temporary DO NO SWIM notice in place at Ballycastle, Portacloy, Lough Lannagh and Pontoon Beaches have been removed this afternoon, Friday, 20th August 2021 following receipt of satisfactory results. 
Mr. Martin Keating, Head of Environment, Climate Change and Agriculture welcomed the restoration of bathing at these beaches in advance of the weekend.
