Temporary Closing Of Road - N5 Dual Carriageway Summer 2024

Notice is hereby given, that it is the Decision of Mayo County Council in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 to close the road contained within the Schedule below during the period commencing Monday 22nd July 2024 to Friday 02nd August 2024 to facilitate grass cutting to verges.
Note: The above dates represent a window period for the proposed works, the physical road closure is anticipated for up to 5 nights (7PM to 6AM). Advance notification of start date will be provided. Roads will be opened early if works are complete early.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Siochana. Emergency access will be maintained.
