Notice of Decision to Temporarily Close Roads - R293

Mayo County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and Article 12 of S.I. 119/1994, that it is the DECISION of Mayo County Council to close the road named below during the period commencing Tuesday 13th August 2024 to Friday 23rd August 2024 to facilitate Pavement Overlay works.
Note: The above dates represent the period over which the proposed works will be carried out. The physical road closure is anticipated during normal working hours, Mon – Fri (08.00 to 18.00) and Sat (08.00 to 14.00). Advance notification of start date will be provided.

Westbound vehicles will be diverted via R293, R325 and N83 Eastbound vehicles will be diverted via N83, R325 and R293 Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the works |
Diversion routes will be clearly signposted. Emergency access will be maintained.
