Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act 1998 Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025 – 2029

In accordance with the provision of Section 9 of the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act 1998 Mayo County Council hereby gives notice that it has prepared a Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme for the period 2025 – 2029 to replace the existing Traveller Accommodation Programme 2019 – 2024, which expires on 31st December 2024.

A copy of the Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025-2029 will be available for inspection during public opening hours at:

For a period of Two Months from the date of this Notice up to 5.00 p.m. on Monday 9th September 2024.

Submissions in writing to:

or emailed to travelleraccommodationunit@mayococo.ie not later than Monday 9th September 2024.

Regard will be had to any submissions received in relation to the Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025-2029 within the prescribed period.
