Businesses Are Invited To Attend Free Breakfast Event In Westport

Mayo County Council is hosting a free business breakfast as part of their programme of events for Local Enterprise Week 2025. Local businesses are encouraged to attend the event which will take place in the Leeson Enterprise Centre on Altamont Street, Westport on March 7th at 8am.
The Breakfast morning has been organised by the Environment Office of Mayo County Council with the support of Westport Chamber of Commerce. The aim of the event is to offer businesses the opportunity to learn more about the Westport Green Hubs Programme and to learn about the wider supports available to businesses through the Local Enterprise Office to help them on their sustainability journey.
Sharon Cameron, Environment Awareness Officer with Mayo County Council will be one of two speakers at the event. ‘We are excited to bring this event to Westport and want to thank Westport Chamber of Commerce for their support. We are launching a new programme on the day called Westport Green Hubs which aims to help businesses manage their waste better and it will be a great opportunity for businesses to learn more about how they can get involved’.
Also speaking at the event, is Derek Hannick of Lean Green Management Services who will talk about sustainability opportunities for businesses and the supports available to help businesses on their sustainability journey.

The event will commence at 8am with some lovely breakfast choices on offer for participating businesses. Businesses are encouraged to register by March 4th to secure their place by emailing scameron@mayococo.ie or calling 0949064217.
