Mayo County Council provides information to members of the public about roadworks, road closures and diversions.

Castlebar Municipal District

Rear access road from Newport Road to Lough Lannagh walkway/carpark will be closed from 8am - 6pm until Wednesday 14th May.

Westport Belmullet Municipal District

Roadworks due to take place on the R-317 at Glenhest Newport on Monday 19th May 2025
- Traffic controls in operation-Please expect delays
Roadworks due to take place on the R-319 Road at Bunnacurry, Achill from Monday 19th May 2025 until Friday 23rd May 2025
- Traffic controls will be in operation - Please expect delays

N59 Derrada - works commencing Monday 24th March for approx 2.5 years .
- 50kph speed limit in place
- Temporary Traffic lights in place wc 19th May, short delays expected.
