Road Works Weekly Information
Mayo County Council provides information to members of the public about roadworks, road closures and diversions.

Westport Belmullet Municipal District
- Works ongoing on the R-335 West road close to the junction with the N59 Leenane road
- Traffic Management will be in operation​
- R-335 Louisburgh - Leenane road is closed until further notice due to recent Storm damage to a bridge at Cregganbaun.
- Diversion routes are in place.
- Roadworks ongoing on the R335 (Murrisk – Lecanvey)
- Traffic Lights in operation – Please expect delays and allow extra time for your journey
Claremorris Swinford Municipal District
- Road resurfacing works will take place on the R375 Kilkelly Rd, Swinford on Monday 16th December.
- Traffic management will be in place, please allow extra time for your journey.
- Road overlay works will take place on the R327 Cloonfad Road at Cuilmore.
- Traffic management will be in place with minor delays expected.
- Roadworks are ongoing on local roads only in the Kilkelly Region of the Claremorris Swinford MD.
- Traffic control in operation. Minor delays expected
Ballina Municipal District​
- Pavement Overlay works commencing on the R314 Ballycastle Road at Killala.
- Traffic management including traffic lights in place with delays expected.
- Roadworks ongoing on the L-1105 Crossmolina to Kilmurray Road.
- Traffic Management will be in operation
- Ballina Town Centre
- Irish Water, Watermain replacement works ongoing on Walsh St. Traffic controls will be in operation..
- Bachelors Walk and Arbuckle Row - ESB duct installation ongoing. Traffic controls will be in operation. Driver caution is advised.
- Creggs Road Ballina – Active Travel
- New footpath and associated civil works. Traffic Controls will be in Operation – Driver caution is advised.
- Farrangarode (old Sligo road) - Roadworks ongoing. Driver caution is advised. Traffic controls will be in operation.
