Aghamore Community Hub
The Aghamore Community Broadband Hub, located off the N17 Galway to Sligo road, is a high powered facility on an 8-acre Integrated Campus. This purpose-built hub, integral to the National Broadband Plan, has a national school, childcare facility, all-weather pitch, and an athletics track.
The modern amenity building is a technological marvel, featuring a sportshall with diverse courts and conferencing capabilities. The executive conference Room is equipped with webcam and video conferencing equipment ideal for business meetings and collaboration.
Upstairs, there are dedicated spaces including a Training and Education Room with integrated IT and video conferencing; there is also an Enterprise Room, and a Youth Room which is managed by the local Foróige Club. This hub, thoughtfully designed, addresses the evolving needs of the community in education, recreation, sports, and employment, exemplifying the power of connectivity and community development.
