Ardagh Community Council CLG

Sports Hall and Flood lit Astro Turf pitch, meeting rooms, stage and gym. Activities include Bingo, Girl Guides, Brownies, Foroige, Art Classes, card games, indoor soccer, Irish Dancing Classes and more. The facility is available to the local Gaa club for meeting rooms and a base for their sucessful annual 5k St Stephens Day run. Recently it has been base for the Ardagh Hunt, in association with the North Mayo Harriers, which was revived in 2018 after a sixty year absence. The Astro Turf pitch is used by local boys and girls for training as well as a number of players and groups from the surrounding towns and villages.

The purpose of Ardagh Community Council CLG is to operate and manage a community council and to provide facilities through the community centre which will act as a focus and catalyst for the community of Ardagh and surrounding areas with a view to promoting sporting, educational, cultural and economic advancement of the area.

We are a voluntary organisation with Charity status providing a community centre to the people of Ardagh that is user friendly and open to groups of all ages and abilities in which they are enabled to access social and sporting activities.
