Ballyhaunis Table Tennis Club
We play at the Community Hall on Main St Ballyhaunis. Our club owns six professional grade tables which are stored at the hall where we play three times a week. We have two registered coaches in our club and we have bats, balls and training nets which are provided to new members for each session.
Ballyhaunis Table Tennis Club was founded in 2016 to offer a friendly sports outlet for local youths as well as those from various ethnic backgrounds in the town. The club was also open to residents of the direct provision centre in the town and we have a policy of not charging membership fees for our junior players in order to ensure a fully inclusive playing environment. The club runs a winter and spring season, with an annual summer tournament.
We offering coaching as well as a friendly and informal playing environment for those who enjoy and who wish to learn the game of table tennis. Inclusiveness is our key ethos as many of our members come from disadvantaged, multi ethnic and unwaged backgrounds. We welcome players of all ages and genders.
