Ballina Sports Inclusion Small Grants Scheme 2024
Mayo Sports Partnership in partnership with Healthy Mayo and Ballina Community Sports Hub invites applications from sports clubs/organisations within the Ballina urban area who have a central focus on increasing participation in sport / physical activity.
A limited number of projects will be funded to sports clubs/organisations in respect to initiatives which target specific groups to promote inclusion in sport. Preference will be made to initiatives which target Youth at Risk, Disadvantaged, Unemployed, Women and girls, Travelling Community, People with a Disability, Middle Aged Men and Ethnic Minorities.
This Scheme will not fund:
- Ongoing running costs of clubs, travel / prizes etc
- Sponsorship.
- Capital / Building Projects.
- Older People Groups (see “Age and Opportunity” grant scheme)
