Launch of HER Outdoors Mayo Events 2024

Get Ready for HER Outdoors Week 12th – 18th August : Celebrating Women in the Great Outdoors
Promising a week of exciting outdoor activities and adventures for women across the country, encouraging more females to embrace the outdoors and experience the numerous physical and mental benefits it offers.
Building on the success of previous years, Mayo Sports Partnership are thrilled to be part of HER Outdoors Week once again, as it launches the highly anticipated 2024 Calendar of events. Through valued partnerships almost 30 events have been organised, providing wonderful opportunities for women of all ages and backgrounds to participate in a range of outdoor activities.

We encourage everyone to download a copy of the Mayo HER Outdoors Calendar of events and join us in the celebrations." New Additions to the Calendar of Events:
Adding to the excitement, Mayo Sports Partnership is pleased to announce several new events that have been included in the Calendar. These events include guided hikes, walks & climbs, Sauna, Yoga and dips and lots of opportunities to try water sports.
Get Involved:
HER Outdoors week aims to celebrate and encourage more females to get out and enjoy the benefits of being in the outdoors while bringing visibility to the opportunities for females to get involved in outdoor physical activity.
This week is all about providing more opportunities for ALL females to escape to the outdoors and try something new. For such a tiny island, there are so many incredible outdoor activities on offer, and this should be celebrated to the fullest!
