Welcome to the Christmas 2024 edition of our online newsletter with all the updates from a busy Mayo Sports Partnership. 2024 has been a fairly hectic year with our new Physical Activity for Health & Outdoor Recreation Officers progressing their pilot projects and the development of an Outdoor Recreation Plan for the county. Another addition to the staff has been Kate Feehan who has developed a number of significant inclusion initiatives across the county. This year also saw following the local elections a new Sports Partnership committee and a new Chair  Lyndon Jones, we are delighted to say that out of our membership of 16 that we now have a 50/50 gender balance which exceeds Sport Irelands 40% threshold.
