Wheelchair Basketball Coaching Day a Slam Dunk in Ballinrobe

Wheelchair basketball coaching at Lakeside Gym in Ballinrobe was a huge success! On Saturday, 18th May, ten new coaches were trained, significantly advancing our efforts to boost inclusive sports in the area. The day was filled with fun and inspiration as participants eagerly learned the ins and outs of coaching wheelchair basketball. This event, hosted by the Lakeside Lakers Basketball Club and facilitated by Mayo Sports Partnership and IWA-Sport, showcased the community's enthusiasm and commitment.
The training not only equipped the new coaches with essential skills but also laid the foundation for exciting future plans. The energy and dedication from everyone involved were truly heartening.
