Mayo Arts Service are pleased to offer a one-day workshop on Developing COVID-19 Systems of Work for festivals and event organisers.
Theatrical and Live Events Production Manager Eanna Whelan will host a workshop on developing COVID-19 Systems of work for festivals and event organisers.

Time: 11.30am to 4pm.
This workshop will suit festival and event organisers who have been forced to regroup, rethink and restructure since restrictions were introduced in March of 2020. This workshop will address issues facing the festivals and events industry and will provide clear information on each of the following areas:
COVID-19 Background
Methods of combating COVID-19
Responsibilities of Employers and Employees
Planning an event
Pre Production Period
Rehearsals
Fit Up and Production
Show Operation & The Public
Risk Management Strategy & Assessment

Éanna Whelan is a Theatrical and Live Events Production Manager, now based in Dublin. Having first trained as an Audio Engineer and then Theatre Technician, he went on to join the international festival circuit, taking management positions at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals. After returning to Ireland his attention turned to international and national touring productions, taking shows to Brisbane Arts Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Montréal Just for Laughs and Glastonbury to name a few. Éanna is currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Emergency Management in Dublin College University and continues to work in the international and national arts festival world.
