Jack Charlton R.I.P

We were saddened to learn of the passing of the legendary Irish football manager and World Cup winner Jack Charlton over the weekend.

Jack was a frequent visitor to Mayo, in particular to Ballina. A second home for him, he spent endless hours fishing on the River Moy, formed many local friendships and was always happy to help out with local fundraisers.

We express our condolences to the Jack's family, friends and the wider sporting community of which Jack played such an integral part.
