Connect Through Culture
Mayo Arts Service and the Culture Night providers in Mayo are excited to announce that Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir will return on Fri 18 Sep 2020.
Given the events of recent months, there are obviously some new challenges this year, but Mayo Arts Service is working alongside Culture Night stakeholders and local organisers in Mayo to create a memorable night.
Many of this year’s events will take place online / virtually, but there are some safe Live/offline events programmed also, that you can visit in person.
We envisage that this year’s programme will provide a great opportunity to recognise the importance and value of our creative sector.
Over thirty venues across the county will showcase Mayo’s unique cultural life on the national website culturenight.ie on September 18th. Regardless of where you are in the county there will be an opportunity to visit the national website and to experience special events presented online for the auduence from 4pm onwards.
This year’s event marks the twelfth year of Culture Night in Mayo and people of all ages across the county are encouraged to take advantage of this night of cultural adventure and discovery.
It is a unique evening of FREE cultural experiences for all to enjoy. Last year almost 4,000 people visited venues and events on Culture Night in Mayo and we expect even more to join in the cultural celebration ONLINE this year.
You can access all events by visiting the national website www.culturenight.ie - search online/offline events and choose Mayo, to view a large variety of quality entertainment.
