Notice of Decision to Temporarily Close Roads - Sea To Summit Race 2024

In Accordance With Section 75 Of The Roads Act, 1993 And Article 12 Of Road Regulations 1994 S.I 119/1994

Notice is hereby given that it is the Decision of Mayo County Council to temporarily close roads as set out on the Schedule hereunder.  The reason for the closures is to facilitate the Sea to Summit Adventure Race.

Periods of closure and alternative roads are set out in the Schedule.

Access road L-5842-7 from its junction with the L1801 (the Towers) to its Junction with the L-5842-6 (Roman island road) for a distance of 191m

Open to local traffic only

From 10:00am to 12:00pm Saturday 09/11/24

Kilsallagh to Drummin road, L5880 & L-1825

R335 Westport to Louisburgh Road

N59 Westport to Liscarney Road

L-1823 Liscarney to Drummin road.
