Press Release: Lough Lannagh, Castlebar, April 24th 2020

Mayo County Council wishes to confirm that vehicle access to the public car park at Lough Lannagh, Castlebar is closed with effect from 8am this morning (Friday).

Following consultation with An Garda Síochána, the decision has been taken to ensure adherence to social distancing.

Mayo County Council strongly encourages everyone to conscientiously follow the guidance issued by our health professionals in relation to COVID- 19. This includes staying at home unless undertaking an essential journey or exercising with a 2km limit of your home.
