Mayo Arts Service supports literature programme
Poetry Day Ireland is an annual all-island celebration of poetry which invites the nation to read, write, and share a poem on the day. All are welcome to get involved, with participation encouraged from artists, venues, schools, hospitals, community groups, poetry-lovers, and more. We partner annually with Poetry Ireland to celebrate and invite poets to join us on Mid West Radio to share their love of Poetry.
The National Mentoring Programme is an opportunity for selected writers across the island of Ireland to receive sustained creative and professional mentoring from an acclaimed Irish writer of their choosing.
Mayo Arts Service annually supports one writer or poet from or living in Mayo will benefit from a literature mentoring relationship.
