Small Private Supplies
Mayo County Council hold a Register of all private supplies within its functional area. A Small Private Supply (SPS) can register by filling out the registration form. The form can be viewed and is available for download by clicking Rural Water - Small Private Supplies (SPS) Registration Form.
Domestic Wastewater Treatment Systems (Septic Tanks)
The Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government (DHPLG) is responsible for the provision of funding of grants relating to the grant schemes available for domestic wastewater treatment systems (more commonly called septic tanks). Local Authorities administer the grant scheme under the Multi Annual Rural Water Programme (MARWP).
