Mixie's Bog - Documentary Screening
A 45min Local Documentary starts at 8pm on Saturday 3rd May
“Keeping his home fires burning for over 60yrs, Mixie continues to cut turf by hand in the traditional ways of North Mayo - This 45min documentary recorded over several seasons follows Mixie as he goes about his craft narrating what he does and telling tales of old along the way.”
The Documentary and Q & A will be followed by a Trad and Ballad session with local bank Trad Lib and friends, including local singer Bridget McMahon and well known Cavan banjo player Karen Dolan.
