Abú! Performing Arts Summer School

July 01 @ 10:00 am - July 12 @ 04:00 pm

Abú! Performing Arts is proud to introduce a brand-new Summer Camp in Claremorris. Abú will be taking over Claremorris Town Hall Theatre for two weeks (week days) from 1st – 12th July to rehearse and perform a fully-staged production of Fame Jr. 6-16 year olds of all abilities and experiences welcome. How does it work? Each weekday, from 10am to 4pm, you will split your time between acting, singing and choreography rehearsals – learning as you go about performance technique, stage craft and all the other skills needed to put on a fantastic show. The final Friday of the Summer School will see you showcase your hard work to friends and family in a fully-staged performance of Fame Jr in the Theatre. Who is the Summer School for? You don’t need any prior experience to take part in this fantastic production. There are roles available for all abilities and confidence levels, and our teachers have worked with everyone from complete beginners to seasoned performers. The only things you need to bring with you are a positive attitude and packed lunch! All participants must be between 6 and 16 years old on 1 July 2024.
