Ballina MD

Welcome to Ballina Municipal District where a myriad of functions and services are delivered to the public by the staff of Mayo County Council.  Our main office is located in the Salmon Capital of Ireland; Ballina, a designated Heritage town.  We are justly proud of the many achievements and awards granted to this district.

Ballina MD is optimistic going forward. Buoyed by the achievements of the past and confident in the projects proposed for the future, we hope that our enthusiasm for the District is shared and that the area continues to experience surefooted improvements every year.
