Elly Beach

Elly Beach is a fine sandy beach located 9km south of Béal an Mhuirthead (Belmullet) in Erris, Co. Mayo. It has received its European Blue Flag for 2014. The beach is clean, sheltered and ideal for swimming, sailing, surfing and other water sports.

Elly Bay is of international ecological importance, because of the diverse habitats to be found in the area. It is also a vital area for birdlife.
