Mayo Day 2023 - At the Heart of Ballina 2023
Mayo Day 2023 took place on April 29 in Ballina. It was staged in the Salmon Capital of the world as part of the Ballina 2023 celebrations to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the founding of the town.
Over 20,000 people took to the streets of the town and surrounding areas including the Tom Ruane Park to engage in a day of celebration of all that makes Mayo great. The finest of musicians, dancers, craft makers, bakers, childrens entertainers, authors, signed up to be a part of what has become the "Mayo" Bank Holiday
